50 Years of Oxenleaze Caravan Park

This year marks a special milestone for Oxenleaze Caravan Park as we celebrate 50 years of welcoming guests and creating lasting memories.

Our story began in 1975, rooted in a simple but inspiring idea. While staying at a caravan park in Scotland, we saw firsthand how a working sheep farm could successfully diversify into tourism. That experience sparked a vision, one that would shape the future of Oxenleaze.

Turning that vision into reality wasn’t without its challenges. Securing planning permission proved to be no easy task, but with determination and belief in the idea, we took the first step. Starting modestly with just six caravans, the park began its journey.

Over the years, Oxenleaze has grown thoughtfully and steadily, expanding to the 25 caravans we proudly host today. While much has changed, our core values remain the same; offering a peaceful, welcoming environment where guests can relax, unwind, and enjoy the countryside.

As we celebrate this 50-year milestone, we reflect with pride on how far we’ve come, and with gratitude to the many visitors who have been part of our journey. Here’s to the next chapter of Oxenleaze Caravan Park.
